For Meriem Lebdiri paving the way for modest fashion in Germany truly was a life altering experience.

When she founded the fashion label Mizaan back in 2012 she was in search of the perfect balance between her Algerian roots and the reality she faced growing up in Germany.

 

Her journey led her all over the globe, working in Washington, Dubai, London and Berlin, letting her become the pioneer of modest fashion in Germany.

 

She let her voice be heard on multiple occasions, always speaking up for what she stands for, be it in talk shows, interviews or documentaries about her work.

 

Today, almost 10 years later, she has grown into her most authentic self. Not only is Meriem Lebdiri using fashion to let two worlds melt together.
